Andrew Gardner
Managing Partner

Andrew Gardner is the Managing Partner of AGA Executive Search. He is an entrepreneur with a proven track record of recruiting and building highly-successful technology companies, divisions, and teams. He has held senior management positions in recruiting, digital marketing, business development, product management, and mergers and acquisitions.

Previously, Andy was a Partner and Managing Director at Boyden, a top-ten global leader in executive search. Prior to that he was Vice President, Customer Insight Group at Razorfish, where he oversaw the User Experience and Data Analytics Departments. He was Executive Director of Business Development at the Educational Testing Service (ETS). Prior to joining ETS, Andy founded Dolphin, Inc., a highly successful educational software company, which won multiple industry awards. In 1999, he sold Dolphin to the American Education Corporation (now K12 Inc.).

Andy majored in Psychology at Yale College and graduated Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude. He studied at Oxford University, where he conducted educational research. He then attended the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine, where he founded Dolphin, employing his professors as medical subject matter experts.

In his spare time, Andy enjoys whitewater rafting, canoeing, tennis, hiking, biking, camping, singing in the choir, and spending time with his wife and children.

Dana Tremblay
Director of Research

Dana Tremblay is a Talent Strategist with extensive experience in identifying and engaging talent for her diverse clients. She has extensive experience recruiting digital marketing executives for AGA Executive Search. Previously, she has held roles as the recruiting manager in a post-secondary institution and a multi-national heavy duty equipment corporation.

The majority of Dana’s career spans 17 years at Boyden Global Executive Search as the Director, Research, leading  a team of dedicated professionals supporting clients in technology, manufacturing, CPG, oil and gas, and numerous public sectors across North America. Dana is particularly passionate about candidate management and is committed to an engaged search process.

Dana began her career as a secondary teacher in French as a Second Language and continues to value her time spent supporting the development of youth and their interview skills. She majored in French at the University of Alberta and received her post graduate certificate in Human Resources from the University of Calgary. Currently, she enjoys outdoor pursuits, knitting and traveling to far flung locations with her husband and her children.

Alex Danilova


Alex Danilova has worked in talent acquisition and recruitment for over 6 years, discovering her passion for talent strategy and the search process shortly after graduating from University of Calgary.

Alex started her career at Accenture, a global management consulting firm. Subsequently, she moved to the oil & gas industry and then worked for Red Bull Canada as a Talent Acquisition specialist for their new division, Red Bull Canada Distribution. At AGA Executive Search, she conducts insightful research and candidate outreach on digital marketing searches. She is passionate about the search process and connecting great candidates with exciting opportunities across multiple disciplines.

Alex holds a BA in Communications from University of Calgary and a Human Resources Practices Certificate from Cornell University. She lives in Calgary, Alberta with her husband and enjoys exploring the mountains, snowboarding and travelling.

David Sides
Director of Technology


David has a passion for computer technology that started in college and continued as he progressed through the ranks of programmer, project lead, product manager, and company leader with Control Data, McGraw-Hill, and American Express. He worked with Andrew Gardner at Dolphin, Inc. for over 10 years, where they developed Codie award winning software products for large educational publishers including McGraw-Hill, Houghton Mifflin, Oxford University Press, and ETS.

David holds a B.A. degree in Economics with a Computer Science minor from the University of Illinois and is a credentialed project manager (PMP). In his spare time, he enjoys spending time exploring Philadelphia’s culture with his concierge girlfriend.
